Team, Structure and Functions

SUYUK has 49 members in a General Assembly and 9 members in an Executive Board. The Executive Board is elected by the General Assembly through consensus in every three years (ensuring proportionate inclusion of Women, Dalit and Janjati in Executive Board members). The Executive Board is represented by a chairperson.

General Assembly is the highest body that directs Executive Board to formulate plans, policies and activities. Executive Board deals with organization's daily affairs. Furthermore, managing and monitoring of organization's programs are other responsibilities of Executive Board.
 
SUYUK is supported by 5 members Advisory Board consisting personalities from diverse professional backgrounds. Advisory Board provides policy and program advice to the Executive Board as per requirement. 

General Assembly meets once a year. During General Assembly session organization's yearly progress report and financial report is presented by Executive Board. That is endorsed after including suggestions from General Assembly members.  Also, General Assembly handovers yearly action plans to Executive Board for implementation. Executive Board appoints Executive Director for day to day management and representation of the organization.

There is a Program Management Team (PMT) for implementation and monitoring of projects. PMT members are chairperson, treasures, executive director, program coordinator, program officer and finance officer.
